Case Studies

Silbury Antiques www.silburyantiques.com

Already a successful business, Silbury Antiques were looking to develop their social presence. With such a visual product, vintage and antique fixtures and fittings, it made sense to focus on visual platforms that had the ability to drive passive revenue. We created a full strategy covering three social platforms, Twitter, Facebook and Pinterest. We came up with interesting new ways to present similar looking items and set out a guide to writing strong call-to-action captions and tweets. With Pinterest's ability to direct traffic towards the source of an image, it quickly become the primary traffic driver for the website and sales began to grow. As they continued to implement the complete strategy their presence across the internet grew leading them to their current position as one of the World Wide Web's top antique fixture sellers. Strange Marketing continues to work with Silbury Antiques on a consulting basis.

Fat Chief Media www.fatchief.com

Fat Chief is a content marketing company based on the outskirts of London. Taking on video creation projects for major brands, the business works with Strange Marketing to share and promote their original video and other media content across multiple platforms. Stand out projects include ROXI, a digital tech start-up who wanted their promotional video to go viral and The Turner Brothers, an 11-piece ska band from Watford who required a full social media strategy to marketing their music to festivals and events. Strange Media has been working with Fat Chief for nearly four years and the partnership continues to go from strength to strength with several new projects in the pipeline.
